Skills Profile
The feedback section that replaced 'enabling skills' when Pearson removed them from PTE score reports in November 2021. The Skills Profile is visible only to the test taker — institutions and visa authorities never see it — and breaks performance down beyond the four communicative skill scores, indicating strengths and weaknesses in areas that previously appeared as enabling skills, such as grammar, vocabulary, spelling, oral fluency and pronunciation. It exists for self-diagnosis: your official report shows only the overall and four skill scores on the 10–90 scale, while the profile guides what to practise before any re-sit.
In plain language
Use the Skills Profile as your private study map — no admissions officer sees it, so treat it as free diagnosis, not something to fear.
