PTE Home

Pearson's Secure English Language Test for UK family, partner and settlement visa routes. Unlike PTE Academic, PTE Home tests only speaking and listening, is offered at three CEFR levels — A1, A2 and B1 — and is graded pass/fail rather than on the 10–90 scale. It is taken at UKVI-approved centres and the score report carries a Unique Reference Number (URN) for your visa application. The level a given application needs depends on the route and stage, so confirm whether A1, A2 or B1 applies before booking.
