Score Report Code
The unique identifier printed on a PTE score report that lets institutions verify the result against Pearson's records. PTE scores are shared electronically: you send them to universities and other recipients through myPTE, Pearson's official account portal, and the receiving organisation checks the report's authenticity online rather than trusting a printout. For UK visa applications the key identifier is different — a UKVI-approved PTE test issues a Unique Reference Number (URN), which is what you enter on the visa application. Results arrive typically within 48 hours and stay verifiable for the two-year validity period.
In plain language
Never email screenshots of your report — send scores officially through myPTE, and for UK visas quote the URN from your SELT report.
