Terms for using EdKnot PTE practice, mock tests, AI scoring, score-planning tools, and related support.

1.Acceptance of terms

EdKnot is operated by EdKnot Technologies Private Limited ("EdKnot", "we", "us"). By accessing the EdKnot website, creating an account, using PTE practice, taking PTE mock tests, viewing AI feedback, or using score-planning tools, you agree to these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree, do not use the services.

  • These terms apply to EdKnot PTE preparation services only.
  • PTE includes PTE Academic, PTE Academic UKVI, and PTE Core preparation where available on EdKnot.
  • EdKnot may update these terms by posting a revised version on the website.

2.Eligibility and account registration

You must be at least 18 years old to register an EdKnot account. Learners below 18 may use EdKnot only through an account created and managed by a parent or legal guardian who accepts these terms on their behalf. If you use EdKnot for an institute, coaching center, company, or another organization, you confirm that you are authorized to accept these terms for that organization.

  • Provide accurate information when registering and keep account details current.
  • Keep login credentials confidential.
  • You are responsible for activity under your account.

3.Services, plans, and access

EdKnot provides PTE preparation content, question-wise practice, complete mock tests, AI-scored feedback, analytics, calculators, and related learning tools. Access may be free, trial-based, subscription-based, or offered through an institute or partner plan.

  • Plan validity starts when access is activated unless the plan states otherwise.
  • Expired access, unused attempts, inactivity, or unused days do not carry forward automatically.
  • Accounts, plans, mock attempts, and practice access are not transferable.

4.AI scoring and score estimates

EdKnot uses automated and AI-assisted evaluation to help learners review PTE speaking, writing, reading, listening, and mock-test performance. Scores, comments, calculators, and predictions are preparation guidance only.

  • EdKnot scores are not official PTE scores.
  • AI feedback may differ from official exam scoring and human judgement.
  • Pearson, test centers, institutions, immigration bodies, employers, and other receiving organizations control official results and acceptance decisions.

5.Payments, refunds, and promotions

Purchases are final once completed unless a separate written policy on the checkout page or invoice says otherwise. EdKnot may refuse refunds for incorrect plan selection, non-usage, dissatisfaction, device issues, internet issues, or failure to meet a target score.

  • Duplicate charges, and payments captured without the purchased access being activated, will be refunded in full to the original payment method once verified — contact [email protected] with the transaction reference.
  • Approved refunds are initiated within 7 business days; the time for the amount to reflect depends on your bank or payment method (typically 5–10 business days after initiation).
  • Taxes, gateway charges, currency conversion fees, and bank charges may be non-refundable where applicable.
  • Promotional codes, discounts, and offers may be changed, restricted, or withdrawn without prior notice.

6.Content usage and intellectual property

EdKnot content and platform assets are protected by intellectual property rights. This includes PTE practice questions, mock tests, explanations, score analytics, dashboards, videos, text, images, software, design, and workflows created or licensed by EdKnot.

  • Do not copy, reproduce, scrape, resell, publish, share, or distribute EdKnot content without written permission.
  • Do not use EdKnot content for commercial training, classroom delivery, or institute operations unless your plan or written agreement allows it.
  • Do not attempt to reverse engineer scoring models, platform logic, or protected product features.

7.Acceptable use and account suspension

You must use EdKnot honestly and only for lawful PTE preparation. EdKnot may suspend or terminate access if misuse is detected or reasonably suspected.

  • Do not share accounts, sell access, bypass usage limits, or automate activity.
  • Do not upload unlawful, abusive, infringing, misleading, or harmful material.
  • Do not attempt to manipulate scores, disrupt services, test security, or misuse payment systems.
  • If a paid account is terminated for a material breach of these terms, remaining plan time may be forfeited without refund; for suspensions found to be in error, access is restored and the plan extended by the affected period.
  • You agree to indemnify EdKnot against third-party claims, losses, and costs arising from your breach of these terms or misuse of the service.

8.Institute and partner access

EdKnot may offer institute, partner, teacher, or enterprise access for PTE preparation. Those accounts are also governed by these terms, plus any written commercial agreement, order form, invoice, or partner policy that applies.

  • Partner pricing, learner limits, validity, support scope, and usage rules may be defined separately.
  • No ownership rights in EdKnot content, software, scoring logic, brand, or business systems are transferred.
  • Partners are responsible for ensuring their learners use EdKnot according to these terms.

9.Data and user information

EdKnot handles personal information according to its privacy practices and applicable requirements. Some account, attempt, payment, audit, and support records may need to be retained for platform integrity, fraud prevention, legal compliance, dispute handling, and service operations.

  • You are responsible for the accuracy of information submitted to EdKnot.
  • Deleting or changing records may be limited where retention is necessary for legitimate operational or legal reasons.
  • Do not submit sensitive personal information unless it is required for the service or support request.

10.Service availability and technical requirements

EdKnot aims to keep the PTE preparation service available and useful, but uninterrupted access is not guaranteed. Maintenance, technical faults, third-party systems, internet problems, device issues, browser issues, and events outside EdKnot control may affect availability or performance.

  • Use a stable internet connection, supported browser, and working microphone or headset for speaking tasks.
  • Back up any personal notes or materials you separately create.
  • EdKnot may change, improve, pause, or discontinue features as the platform develops.

11.Disclaimers and limitation of liability

EdKnot is a preparation platform and does not guarantee any official PTE score, admission result, visa result, immigration outcome, job outcome, professional registration, or acceptance by any receiving organization. Your use of EdKnot is at your own risk.

  • EdKnot is not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, special, punitive, or loss-of-opportunity damages.
  • EdKnot is not responsible for official exam booking, official score release, test-center decisions, or receiving-body requirements.
  • To the maximum extent permitted by law, EdKnot's total aggregate liability for all claims relating to the service is limited to the amount you paid to EdKnot in the three (3) months before the event giving rise to the claim.
  • Where liability cannot be excluded or limited by law, it is limited to the maximum extent permitted by applicable law.

12.Governing law, updates, and support

These terms are governed by the laws of India unless a separate written agreement states otherwise. Subject to applicable consumer-protection law, disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts at Jodhpur, Rajasthan, India.

  • Continued use after changes means you accept the updated terms.
  • If any part of these terms is found unenforceable, the remaining parts continue to apply.

13.Grievance redressal

If you have a complaint about the service, a payment, content, or these terms, you can raise it with our Grievance Officer, appointed in accordance with applicable Indian law, including the Information Technology Act 2000, the Consumer Protection (E-Commerce) Rules 2020, and the Digital Personal Data Protection Act 2023.

  • Grievances are acknowledged within 48 hours and resolved within 30 days of receipt.

14.Third-party trademarks and independent status

PTE, PTE Academic, PTE Academic UKVI, PTE Core, Pearson Test of English, Pearson, and Pearson VUE are trademarks or names owned by their respective rights holders. EdKnot uses these names only to identify the PTE preparation products for which its independently created materials are designed.

  • EdKnot is not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by, or officially connected to Pearson Education Ltd or Pearson VUE.
  • Official PTE information, booking rules, fees, scoring, and acceptance requirements should be confirmed through official Pearson and receiving-organization sources.
