Partner Terms
Terms for institutes and coaching centers using the EdKnot partner workspace, EdPasses, and student sponsorship features.

1.Acceptance and scope
These Partner Terms govern institutes, coaching centers, and other organizations ("partners", "you") that operate an EdKnot partner workspace to prepare their students for PTE. They apply in addition to the EdKnot Terms & Conditions, which continue to govern all use of the platform. By applying for a partner workspace, accepting these terms at checkout, or using partner features, you confirm that you are authorized to accept these terms for your organization.

- The EdKnot Terms & Conditions and Privacy Policy also apply to your organization and its users.
- EdKnot may update these terms by posting a revised version on the website.
2.Partner workspaces and approval
Partner workspaces are created through an application that EdKnot reviews manually. EdKnot may accept, decline, or later suspend a workspace at its discretion, including where information is inaccurate or these terms are breached. Owner, admin, and teacher accounts in your workspace are free — you pay only for EdPasses you choose to buy.
- Provide accurate organization details (name, city, contact information, and tax identifiers where applicable) and keep them current.
- You are responsible for the people you add to your workspace and for activity under your organization accounts.
- EdKnot may contact you to verify your organization before or after approval.
3.EdPasses
An EdPass is a prepaid unit of student access: assigning one EdPass gives one student full EdKnot premium access for 30 days, including mock tests and AI scoring. EdPasses sit in your workspace balance until you assign them.
- EdPasses never expire while your workspace remains in good standing.
- Once assigned, a pass runs to the end of its access period — including if the student later leaves your institute. Assigned passes are not returned to your balance.
- Complimentary EdPasses may be granted by EdKnot at its discretion (for example on approval). They have no cash value, are consumed before purchased passes, and may be adjusted or withdrawn in cases of misuse.
- EdPasses and workspace balances have no cash value, are not transferable between organizations, and may not be resold outside your institute.
4.Pricing and volume tiers
EdPass pricing uses volume tiers based on the passes your organization has purchased in the trailing 12 months (net of any adjustments). The price shown at checkout is authoritative for that order and is recorded on the order permanently — later price or tier changes are never retroactive.
- EdKnot may add, change, or withdraw tiers and prices prospectively at any time.
- A minimum quantity may apply to first orders, and self-serve orders are capped; larger volumes are arranged personally with EdKnot support and may be priced by separate agreement.
- Promotional or negotiated pricing, where offered, is defined in writing and does not alter these terms otherwise.
5.Payments, taxes, and refunds
EdPass purchases are paid online through our payment provider. All EdPass purchases are final: EdKnot does not offer refunds, credits, or exchanges for purchased EdPasses, including for unused balances, change of plans, or student attrition. Because EdPasses never expire, your balance remains available to assign whenever you need it.
- Duplicate charges, and payments captured without the purchased EdPasses being credited, will be refunded in full to the original payment method once verified — contact [email protected] with the transaction reference.
- Applicable taxes, where required by law, are added at checkout and reflected on your invoice or receipt.
- Invoices and receipts for your orders are available in your workspace.
6.Students, consent, and data
Students join your workspace themselves — through a join code or invitation — and give explicit consent for your organization to view their EdKnot activity and results. Your visibility into a student’s results is limited to the period of their consented enrollment, and students may leave your institute at any time, which ends your forward visibility.
- Use student data only to coach and support that student; do not sell, publish, or share it outside your organization.
- Results you retain from a student’s enrollment period must be handled in line with applicable data-protection law.
- You are responsible for informing your students how your organization uses their preparation data.
7.Acceptable use, suspension, and termination
The partner workspace is for preparing your own enrolled students. EdKnot may suspend or terminate a workspace that misuses partner features, and remaining balances may be forfeited without refund where the termination results from a material breach of these terms.
- Assign EdPasses only to students and staff genuinely associated with your organization.
- Do not resell, sublicense, or broker EdKnot access, EdPasses, or content outside your institute.
- Do not present your organization as an agent, franchise, or official test partner of EdKnot or Pearson.
- For suspensions found to be in error, access is restored and affected passes remain usable.
8.Independent status and trademarks
EdKnot is an independent PTE preparation platform. PTE, PTE Academic, PTE Academic UKVI, PTE Core, Pearson Test of English, Pearson, and Pearson VUE are trademarks or names owned by their respective rights holders, used only to identify the exams for which EdKnot’s independently created materials are designed.
- EdKnot is not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by, or officially connected to Pearson.
- EdKnot scores and analytics are preparation guidance, not official PTE scores.
- Official exam booking, fees, scoring, and acceptance decisions belong to Pearson and receiving organizations.
9.Liability, governing law, and contact
The disclaimers, limitations of liability, indemnity, grievance-redressal process, and governing-law provisions of the EdKnot Terms & Conditions apply equally to partner workspaces. These terms are governed by the laws of India, and disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts at Jodhpur, Rajasthan, India, unless a separate written agreement states otherwise.
- Continued use of the partner workspace after changes means you accept the updated terms.
- If any part of these terms is found unenforceable, the remaining parts continue to apply.
