Overall Score

The single 10–90 figure at the top of your PTE score report, reported on the Global Scale of English. It reflects performance across the whole test but is not the average of your four communicative skills — integrated tasks distribute marks unevenly, so overall and skill scores can diverge. Most institutions set both an overall and per-skill minimum. Scores arrive typically within 48 hours (at most five business days) and remain valid for two years, though Australian visa authorities accept them for three and Canadian citizenship results never expire.
