How is Write From Dictation scored?

One point for every word in the sentence that you type, in order, with correct spelling. It credits both Listening and Writing, which makes it one of the highest-value tasks in the test.

What if I miss a word?

Type the words you have in the right order and leave the gap. Partial credit counts every correct word; a guessed wrong word scores nothing but costs nothing either.

Does spelling matter?

Yes. A misspelt word is a missed word. Keep a list of the words you get wrong in practice.
